The name of the village is originated back to Szent György Hill’s medieval name. Surrounded by a picturesque chestnut-tree grove on the main square, a vicarage church constructed in the 18th century overlooks the willage. The stone cross in front of the church was erected in 1834. The cozy little settlement still keeps its traditions, and also from its boundary line numerous tourist trails lead to the peak of the hill.
