The Ciudad Juárez México Temple is the 71st operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Ciudad Juárez México Temple, located in the border city of Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, serves about 12,000 Mormons in northern Mexico and the adjacent U.S. state of Texas. About 1,700 members attended the groundbreaking ceremony on 9 January 1999. Church President Gordon B. Hinckley dedicated the Ciudad Juárez Temple on 26-27 February 2000.
The Ciudad Juárez México Temple has a total floor area of 10,700 square feet (990 m2), two ordinance rooms, and two sealing rooms.
