Detail InformationEdit

The Main Square – with the preserved mid 12th century layout. The present buildings of the Main Square go back to the 1920’s and 30’s when the city was rebuilt after the destruction in 1914. What attracts attention is the bulding – the so-called house with medallions. In its front facade there are 4 bas-reliefs displaying the heads of outstanding citizens: A.Asnyk, M.Konopnicka, St. Szolc-Rogoziński and M.Dąbrowska (by an artist W.A. Oźmina).
