In museum are exhibited the history of art on Pomerania and the dominion of the Gryphites dynasty. Building was erected in the years 1726-27 as tha Palace of States parliament. Reguilt in XIX and XX centuries. Solid exhibitions: Romanesque art on Pomerania, Gothic art on Pomerania. To the most interesting expositions belong here:a magnificent Gothic crucifix dated at ca 1300 from the Kamień Pomorski, , an alabaster Fair Madonna of the Cistercian monastery at Bukowo Morskie, a sculpted and pentaptich from the Joannite church in Stargard Szczeciński. Modern art on Pomerania – a valuable Lutheran Passion altar painted in 1580. Artistic craft, artistic patronage Dukes of Western Pomerania,we can look here genealogical tree of Pomeranian Dukes, painted by Cornelius Crommeny, a Mecklenburg painter, in 1598. Museum leads educational activity also.
