In the northern part of Tyczyn there is located historic palace and park complex. It was built in years 1862-1869 by the Wodzicki family, owners of Tyczyn of that time. In 1881 there was erected a guest pavilion projected by architect Tadeusz Stryjenski. In 1892 it was built an annex which was connected with the palace through the pavilion. At that time the complex consisted of palace, distillery, brickyard, grange and steam mill. Buildings didn’t suffer during the World Wars. Only park underwent huge devastation where cut out a lot of trees and built sports field. Currently the palace houses school.
