Roman Dmowski, who was a friend of the family, lived there in the period between the I WW and the II WW. The primary mission of the museum is scientific activity, such as conducting fito-sociological and floristic research in the region and examining the fkora of local rivebeds. The museum is actively engaged in educational practies with numerous premanent and temporary, exibitions presenting the beauty of local nautre and elements of the environment. It is frequented by tourists and school pupils.
