Detail InformationEdit

The Greek Catholic church dedicated to St. Dmitri the Martyr was erected in 1701. It was restructured in 1923 (a new women’s gallery with a porch was constructed and a sacristy was built).
In the 1960, it was turned into a warehouse and was partially damaged by a fire in 1987. The renovation which reconstructed the initial appearance of the western part was carried out between 1990 and 1994. At present it is not used and belongs to the group of traditional wooden architecture of the Eastern Church. Its layout – three-part plan and a single-dome body relates clearly to the oldest Orthodox and Greek Catholic churches from the 16th and 17th c.
