Rybitwy, it is a village 15 km away from Gniezno. The museum is located on the west shore of the Lednickie Lake. There is a manor house from the 18th/19th century, cottage of colonist from 1737 from Marinowo (close to Wieleń), windmill from 1888 from Ganiny (close to Gniezno), public folk school from the XIX century and a barn from 1897 from CHojnik (close to Nowy Tomyśl).
