Steiri (Greek: Στείρι) is a village in Boeotia, Greece. In 2001 its population was 1,010. The area are mountainous and are made up of grasslands and bushes, farmlands are within the village. Steiri is connected with the road connecting with the GR-29 (Arachova – Distomo).The village is built at the elevation of 450 m amphitheatrically in the foot of the Helicon, the beautiful mountain of the Muses, in which it thought to be a goddess of Parnassus.
