The Church and Monastery are representative of transitional 10th century Catalan architecture.Carolingian, Mozarab, and Romanesque remains, under Lombard influence, are preserved.The church began building in the 10th century, using the Mozarab style but it as consecrated in 1022. There are three naves, cross plan and three apses.The Central nave has a barrel vault with quarter sphere sides. The church is flanked by two towers.Influenced by French Romanesque, its sculptured decoration is related to the church of San Genis les Fonts and San Andrés de Sureda.
