When visiting Jaisalmer, many people opt to stay at hotels in the Fort. However, what they may not be aware of is that the condition of the Fort is rapidly deteriorating as drain water is seeping into its foundations. The situation has become so concerning that the municipal council plans to remove all hotels and restaurants from the Fort. So, what’s the best alternative for accommodations? Staying in a hotel with Fort views! You’ll find many Jaisalmer hotels with panoramic Fort views from their rooftop terraces and Fort facing rooms. Here are eight of the best ones, for all budgets.
