Itinerary
DAY 1 Arrive at Srinagar / Sightseeing
Arrive at Srinagar and check into the hotel. Explore the property and environs. In the afternoon take a tour of world famous Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. Overnight at the Hotel.
DAY 2 Sonamarg Day Trip
After breakfast, go for a full day sightseeing trip to Sonamarg. Horse riding is available to the Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. Sonamarg is known as the Gateway of Ladakh. Return to Srinagar in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 3 Srinagar to Gulmarg (2 hrs, 56 km)
After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg. Arrive and check into the hotel. Go for a Gondola ride (optional and at extra cost) from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 4 Gulmarg to Pahalgam (4 hr, 146 km)
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam. On the way visit Saffron fields and Avantipur ruins and 1100 year old temple. Reach Pahalgamand enjoy the valley and environs. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 5 Arrive at Srinagar Houseboat (3 hr 30 min, 96 km)
After breakfast, drive to Srinagar. Check in to your Deluxe Houseboat on the famous Dal Lake waters. This afternoon will be enjoyed on the placid waters of the Dal Lake where you will see fusion of God’s nature – Zaberwan Hills – reflected in the beautiful waters of the 25 square kilometer lake. The evening will end with a stay in the houseboat where you will get the taste of the best of the Kashmiri traditions where the small waves hitting the houseboat will act as a lullaby.
DAY 6 Depart from Srinagar
After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Depart from Srinagar to onward destination.
