Itinerary

DAY 1 Arrive at Bangalore / Sightseeing

Arrive at Bangalore and check into the hotel. Visit Bangalore Palace, Lal Bagh, Cubbon park, Museum, Iskcon Temple, Vidhana Soudha & Bull Temple. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2 Bangalore to Mysore (3 hr 30 min, 143 km)

After breakfast drive to Mysore. Arrive and check in at the hotel. After lunch visit the Mysore Palace. Later take a drive to Chamundi Hills and pay your obeisance to goddess Chamundi. Spend the evening at Brindavan Gardens behind the Krishnaraja Sagar Dam. The garden has innumerable fountains which dance to the music every evening. This Garden has been the filming location for many Hindi movie of bygone days. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 3 Mysore to Ooty (2 hrs 45 min, 125 km)

After breakfast, drive to Ooty. Arrive and check into the hotel. Go for a sightseeing trip to Botanical Garden, Ooty Lake (Boat House), Doddabetta Peak (before 5 pm). Overnight at the Hotel.

DAY 4 Pykara Sightseeing

After breakfast, start for full day sightseeing to Pykara. The Pykara reservoir and power station, declared as a Heritage plant is an added attraction here. It consists of fenced Shola forest, Toda settlements, and a large grassy meadow with abundant wildlife. Pykara falls is a series of falls on the river. There is also a boat house on the lake. Evening return to Ooty. Overnight at the hotel.
