Detail InformationEdit

277 Park Avenue is Associate in Nursing edifice within the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of recent royal family town. It stands on the side of Park Avenue between forty seventh and forty eighth Streets; it’s 687 feet (209 m) tall, with fifty floors. The building presently homes elements of JPMorgan Chase’s Investment Bank, bank, and alternative company functions. JP Morgan’s takeover of Bear Stearns in 2008 resulted in most investment banking staff moving to 383 Madison Avenue to scale back the hired realty footprint in Midtown.
Previous tenants have enclosed apartment Magazine, Schlumberger, Donaldson, town & Jenrette, and Chemical Bank (Predecessor to today’s JPMorgan Chase). The edifice opened on July thirteen, 1964. Associate in Nursing dwelling designed by McKim, Mead, and White antecedently occupied the positioning. One tenant of that building was the presidential campaign of John F. Kennedy.
