2 Horatio Street could be a landmarked residential building set within the Village Historic District on the side of lower Manhattan in big apple town. It faces north onto Horatio Street (named for Major General Horatio Gates) and Jackson sq. Park. It borders Greenwich Avenue to the east. In Gregorian calendar month 1929 the developer brothers Bing & Bing proclaimed that that they had noninheritable all the mandatory land on Horatio, West Twelfth and Saint Christopher Streets to make 5 high-end residential buildings during a joint effort to “recreate” the Village neighborhood.
For 2 Horatio Street, Bing & Bing selected designer Henry M. Robert T. Lyons.
